Default Anyone considering a new '06?

Well - we had been, mainly because of a couple of the new safety features.

Saturday we went to take a look at them at our local stealer. Much to our surprise, the one they had was the new Laguna Blue Pearl. After a fair amount of "should we" and "can we" - we DID!!! We drove it home late that afternoon.

I must say I was quite surprised how "different" the '06 feels from my '05. The '04 and '05 are identical and I really didn't expect to feel any difference - but the DBW really does make a difference. Here's a list of the differecnes I have thus far learned of for the '06 models:

- Drive By Wire (DBW)

- Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)

- Traction Control

- Daytime Running Lights (DRL)

- New design seats and a few other items like the steering wheel and some of the trim (all for the

Having lived in Boulder for 16 years, I can say that this is an interesting time of year to buy an S in Loveland. Are you planning on swapping off the RE050s for snows? HPH

The S is a daily driver for my wife, unless it gets REALLY bad. If worse comes to worse, I will take her to work (about 4 miles) and I will work from home that day.
I bought a set of '03 rims and mounted dedicated snow tires (Dunlop WinterSport).

My main concern is the side streets and the frozen ruts with the limited ground clearance.

Nice color, colorado. How do you like the feel? I know I was initially disappointed going from the '01 to the '05. I still think the '01 is more fun for play time.
