Default Vacation Plans

Now that the snow is flying and football season is almost over, I was wondering where everybody will be heading this Spring/Summer for vacation. My wife and I hope to head to Aruba in March and to the beach this summer. What about you? What are you planning?

Since we have a place at the beach we always go there. We planned tp head there for the month of February but since we are closing on a new house in late January we are going to stay here until we get some work done in the new place first. We'll probably head there for March. We've had a mild winter so far but it would be nice to see the sun again.

I'm making our two meets, Spring Fling and Nor'Easter, my vacations with maybe a little side trip to my new favorite island, Anguilla, in October. Okay, and maybe Vegas in March. I'm just playing "jump-up" this year, whatever comes down the pike. If somebody says jump, I say "which plane."

Who's got time for vacations? We have S2000 meets to attend!

Actually, we have SF 06 and the Nor'Easter on our calendar. We'll take a bit of vacation time for those meets.

We have a trip to Sedona, AZ in late April that we are really looking forward to, and in September, we usually stay close to home and do some cruising in our "S". We like to go to places that are too busy in the summer, Newport, RI, Cape Cod, MA, etc., BUT we are expecting grand baby #2 in late August, so I may have to use a bit of vacation time to help out or just enjoy the new little one.

Heading to Topsail Island in May. The only other trip we have planned is the Nor'Easter. We're thinking of doing some traveling in December, but nothing firm yet.

My birthday is on Christmas. For a surprise birthday present, Anne Marie (Mrs. Raptor) gave me a seven day Mexico cruise: LA-Cabo San Lucas-Mazatlan-Puerto Vallarta-LA on Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Sea. We depart on March 5.

Where do you go/stay in Aruba? Aruba is a favorite place of ours. Perfect weather almost all the time.

I love Aruba. We saw and shot a total eclipse of the sun there in 99.
