I was Looking for a Good Cold Running tire for some 3/8 mile short track Drag Racing. We only run 16 cars, and one Lap each race with two cars, Loose and you go home, win and race the other winners till we have a 1st Place Winner.

Our tires never really get a chance to warm up, so I order the Hankooks for this Race. Ordered 205/55/Z16 for the Front and the wrong size came in (225/50Z16).

There's nothing wrong with these tires other than they look like Ballons when installed on the Front Wheels.

I like the way the Hankooks Grip when Cold, but there is no Comparason to Bridgestone SO2s when Hot. But for Half the Money, it's not a bad tire. I currently have a set on my S (205s on the front) till they get about half worn then I will save them for our Circle Drag Races Only.

The SO2 at Twice the Money is a much better tire for High Speed Runs IMHO and provide better handling at Tripple Digits. The SO2s feel safe at 135, the Hankooks only up to 120-125. I can feel a little side wall flex at high speeds with the Hankooks and almost none with the SO2s.
