Unless the iPhone is not released....

I like Exxon Mobil. Posted record profits all through last year (I believe it was over $10B in 1 qtr alone). With the current situation in the international political scene, oil will be scarce for another year.

Stick with energy stocks. We need them, we use them, and they tend to make a lot of $$$$.

Overall I agree (especially since it's the business I'm in ). We could see some rough patches (like today) for the energy stocks as the price of crude remains volatile and the warmer-than-normal winter over much of the country and resultant pressure on heating oil is hurting the crack spreads (refining margins). Long term energy should generally be a good investment though.

Sony's stock will be much lower this year, due to the PS3 being a bust.

Energy/oil lovers got a rude start to 2007. Still sticking with energy?

Looking for the hedge funds to find a good spot to buy back in on crude and waiting for winter weather to hit in the North / Northeast. Otherwise glad I shed most of my energy last week though I wasn't smart enough to take my losses on Sun and run. Only other energy I have is COP which I had sold at a nice profit and dumbly bought back into Friday. Knowing the weather forecasts, I should have known better!
