Default Tyres-SO2's V Other Brands?

Best place to source SO2's? As in price? These are original equipment, so I'm presuming they can't be bettered, but can be on price. Atm I've got P6000's on the rear on a 225 profile, not good at all.

Or are people changing and going for other brands? I did use the search which bought a million results I've got a 99 car on the original 16" alloys, with soon to be fitted Eibach springs, want a grippy tyre that will not wear out in two days, or break the bank....Maybe I'm asking too much.

hello! I always ran S02's but jumped ship last month and went for the Proxes T1R's. You need wider on the rear and 36psi but they def seem grippier in the wet. I have more confidence in them...

Although maybe not as good as the S02's in hot summer runs.

Depends on what conditions you drive in. mine is an every dayer therefore these (I think) suit me better... Still early days <500 miles.

similar price.

I'll drive it every day, but so much in winter, as I have a banger to run about in.

So the options for an every day road tyre with half decent grip with longtivety are SO2's or the Toyo T1R's? Just to confirm the rears need to be 245 45 16?

Nick

Can you confirm the sizes and speed ratings you got on the Toyo's - like you I use mine as an everyday vehicle and never liked the original tyres in the wet winter months.

No, they are tyres for a Porsche.

The code you need is ES02JZ

I'm after the Toyos Guessing it will always be cheaper to source on line then get fitted. The Toyo's also work out cheaper, I'm selling my Ps3 to source tyres, so need to get as much for my money as possible.

Are the Toyos I posted above correct? Thanks

ES02JZs were designed for the car so why would you want to fit anything else?

I bought a full set of 4 from Bracknell Tyres a couple of weeks ago for
