I have my 27k service due shortly and to be honest I do not trust my local dealer.

I know off Crown Honda in Bushey, as a friend of mine worked there years ago and I used to live in the area, I am prepared to travel 150 miles return to get a decent service.

Please let me know of your experiences.

Always very good.

When you book make sure you ask for Jorge to work on your car.

If you join S2KUK you will get 10 or 15 % discount on the service - which is significantly more than the membership costs.

Take your laptop with you - they have a wireless network you can use.

I always go out on the test drive at the end of the service with Jorge and he'll let you know what they've done and if anything will need doing soon. . .

 

Yep, I had my 1st service done there a couple of weeks ago and asked for Jorge, I spoke to him about greasing up the geometry setting bushes etc and he said not to bother, it's under warranty so leave it for a year.
The only thing I'd say is bring your own oil, i can't remember exactly but I think I got hit

 

You may encounter a small problem - the tappets are checked at that service and adjusted if necc however it should be done on a cold or very cool engine so I would take a sleeping bag as well.

Davey_2: I will try and book the service for a Monday morning, drive down on the Sunday and stay at a friends for the night, she's only 3-4 miles from Crown.

Personally if you live in Peterborough I would go to Norton Way in Letchworth.

Crown Honda were always a bit hit and miss when I first moved to the area, it ended up costing me over

 

Stratstone in Bedford are very good too. Steve the service manager is very knowledged so you can be assured that the work gets done properly.

I've used them for years and never had a problem.

 

I've had 3 dealings with Crown Honda in Bushey and they seem a load better than the others! Always ask for Jorge and they WILL do what you ask them to do.

Mine is about to have it's first MOT & 35K service done there and I know it will be looked after.

Crown is my local dealer and have always given a good service. A couple of the managers are S2K drivers. Remind them that they advertise a 15% discount to S2K club members when you book in.
