Default Speakers LOL New Owner

Got my s2000 last wednesday, it a 2000 model in silverstone with red leather and 60k miles in absolutely mint condition. Took ages to find and a few dogs of cars were viewed too.

Anyway with a vieew to upgrading the stereo i thought i would remove the door cards and stereo and see what was there.

Surely these are not speakers but ctually just recycled paper!!!!

If so, I have 2 sets of OEM 16" alloys, and I have 2 front correct S02s that I want to sell. All the wheels are totally straight, not bent or buckled.

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

I binned my original speakers - I couldn't believe the $hit that was there is a

I put relatively decent infiniti speakers into the door - no components and thn put speakers with components into my rear panels behind the seats. Rock on!

Door installation: Here
Rear Panel Installation: Here

Hope that helps.

Otherwise butcher your door cards / buy newer model (not sure they fit?) and utilise the components in them.

Personally I love my set up - very happy with the speakers in rear panels - just tops it off IMHO

yes you can now get pre-made. lucid and others sell them. For the rear just stuff th cable under the carpet along the transmission tunnel.. you will see the clips along the ide, just pop em and feed the wire under - dead easy!

IIRC it was the alpine loom I snipped. The stock HU didnt have speaker out pins for rear speakers so you wouldnt be able to do with stock HU... I think.
