Default Bird crap

MY biggest fear having the roof down is a bird shitting on me, anyone had this yet?

Today I leant forward at a junction and leant on the headlamp washer with the roof down. Got covered in smelly washer fluid!

Hasn't happened as yet. Somebody tried to gob on me the other day as I drove past.
They missed me, fortunately, but it was a bugger to clean off the door panel.

Not in the S, but in my MX5 about 2 hours into ownership.....

Made me very paranoid for the next few months as it was my 1st convertible.

Touch wood, it has never happened since, but guess I have just tempted fate!

It's a very old joke, but possibly worth repeating...and apologies in advance

Q. What do you do if a bird craps on your car?

A. Don't take her out again!

There was once a thread on the US forum about a seagull dropping a buritto on some ones head whilst they were in the S2000.

I had a seed pod fall a tree and smack me on the forehead. I was doing 30mph or so and it made me crap myself...thought I'd been shot at first!

Seriously tho........... I seem to have a lot of incontinent birds around here, and i have found it impossible to remove the marks (on the roof, not me) completely. I've had many drophead cars over the years but never had this particular problem. Perhaps it's something to do with the fabric-look finish. I use Raggtopp regularly and would have thought this might provide some sort of barrier. Anyway, I've tried various stain removers without success - anyone managed to overcome the problem of bird sh*t stains on the hood?

Thats another fear, something getting thrown. A mate had a Rover coupe with the roof panels out and someone thought it would be funny to throw a fag butt into the car.

Nice burnt seat

I have the same problem as I'm forced to park under a telegraph pole when at home.
Every morning I've got to get the quick detailer out to sort the paintwork.

Still haven't remedied the problem with stains on the roof though.
