Default Supersprint (with rear silencers) Exhaust

I am interested in getting a supersprint exhaust (with 2 rear silencers) but I am looking for some advice. I have tried the search function and much of what I have found seems to contradict on another...anyway, what I would like to know is just how loud it is.

I have heard the Stainless Steel HKS Silent and the Invidia exhausts. The invidia is far too loud for me. I am looking for something similar to the HKS Silent - slightly more pronounced than the standard but not too loud without too much drone - would the supersprint exhaust fit my requirements?

Also, I do not want to decat my car as the MOT is due quite soon and I don't want the hassle - what effect will this have? more drone? louder/quieter?

Any advice is much appreciated as frankly I haven`t a clue!!!

cheers.

The Boy Wonder used to have a Supersprint. I never thought it was particularly loud.

Having heard Boy Wonders in person I would say it was LOUD
But then I consider the Invidia to be VERY LOUD and on a par with the Skunk2 (allegedly the same)
The HKS's NOT FAR OFF LOUD
And my Amuse (soon to be Hava's) LOUD
So I'm going to a Mugen which is not loud!

Hope that helps!
But my ears seems to contradict others on this! Must have been all that LOUD music when I was younger.
My mum did warn me

On the Mikey scale, I'd say that the HKS wasn't LOUD, the Invidia ****ING LOUD and the Spoon N1 REALLY ****ING LOUD.

For a drink my local garage would let me use their ramp to fit de-cat pipe., and re-fit cat. come MOT time.
Cheaper than expensive exhaust system and from what I have read over the last year most after-market systems are not that much louder than de-cating or give any performance improvement.

In fact the general perceived wisdom gleaned from the many specialist Jap car magazines, their staff, correspondents and suppliers is that the S2000 is not the 'ideal' car to own in the UK if you like doing lots of modding.

Many owners on this Forum have of course proved otherwise.

yes de-catting does make the exhaust note slightly louder as it is more free-flowing from what i understand?

I would still like to go for a Supersprint, probably rear boxes only.

I was contacted by NikkiH at the beginning of April who had a pair of brand new rear boxes for pre MY2004 fitment. He also posted in the for sale section, I don't think he sold them.
If they had fitted mine I'd have had them
