Default Some C

I've just come back from 10 days in the south of France. Popped into Antibes to clock some of the vulgar gin palaces.

In addition to Tatoosh (owned by Paul Allen of Microsoft fame) complete with its helipad and copter, I spotted this S parked next to Ecstasea. The number seemed familiar so I'm guessing it's someone on here. There was no one on board and no owner in sight ...

Also spotted this S leaving the underground car park in Casino Square in Monte Carlo. I have to admit though that it was slightly overpowered by a later sighting ...

The area is such a beauty in the backland to drive around.

Hope you enjoyed the backroads!

It's mine - gets as many looks as the yachts on the quay! superb diving her around the mountains. Have not seen any other S's in 2 weeks here...

Hardly. We were pootling around in my uncle's hired manual Meriva, and he can barely drive an automatic. Frankly it was frightening as his driving is comfortably the worst I've seen. Unfortunately I wasn't listed as a driver so I couldn't step in ...

Were you just parked there or were you working on any of the boats. Two sons of my uncle and aunt's friends both work on large yachts. One is First Mate on Zenobia which is pretty massive. It was moored in Monaco harbour ...

Yes am working onboard. Having had no sightings I saw a Black S from Switzerland on the quay almost straightaway. Off to Col de Turini tomorrow - if it stays dry!

You don't by any chance know Charles or Andrew Rentoul? I've not met them either but they're the two I referred to above. I don' know, but I imagine the "posh yacht" workers community is fairly tightly knit. Then again, there are rather a lot of them ...

If not, enjoy the roads anyway ...
