Default Wheels Powder Coated Gunmetal

Just thought I would share with you all, my change in colour of my OEM Wheels.

I had my wheels powder coated last year in Black Chrome which looks very sparkly, but I was also warned that the black chrome effect was also a weaker mixture of paint and powder. But neither the less they looked pretty hot!

See below

I got bored with the colour and fancied something a little more aggressive, so I got the boys down at Wicked Wheels (Crawley) to do the business again and with a wave of the magic wand they made my car look totally different. (Well I think so).

Just for you guys that are looking at changing wheel colours Gunmetal is great looking but a pig to keep the sparkle due to the dust!

Wow they transformed your S in to an Enzo in the last pic
Ironically I've just done my Volks Smoked Chrome.
From your comment on durability I hope they last!

I've got a spare set and can't decide on the following on a black car

For the summer (S02 shod)
Smoked Chrome
or
Close to standard

For the winter (Toyo?)
Black
or
Gunmetal.

Yeah .......now the S2K colour scheme now matches the bike!

Mine is a 998s

Black is good but I have seen a few at my mates and I think that there isn't enough contrast??
