Angry Stardard S2000 ownership

Hi all

Ive got a standard S2000 and hearing all these topics about the geometry and the alinement guy i am little confused.

Its a 07 model and i love it to bits but i dont want to die in it. Should i be worried about wet driving but most of all should i get any adjustments done. It doesnt feel that planted at high speed but i have no marker as a reference.

I am a keen driver and like to push but im finding my feet it the car really. Corners can be a bit scary!

Any help will be great!

You'd hope a nearly new one wouldn't be far out of alignment, but now would be a really good time to get all those bolts properly greased before they get a chance to seize up.

If you care about driving, then yes it makes a big difference.

And then get yourself to this:

I went to have my alignment done by Chris 2 weeks ago. He told me that Honda set up the S geometry to a very basic level that isnt cut out for how the S should be driven.

Go and see Chris. You will feel so much more confident round corners and in the wet. Also, you will obviously have no seized bolts on an 07 car so the whole process will be very easy and quick.

Get your self some driver training - it helps loads See a link to 1st Lotus and Don Palmer in my sig. Motorsports Events also do "Academy" training days which are good value for money.

Hi Survey 2000

I'm in the same situation, been a bit concerned about the number of threads referring to geometry, handling etc.

Does anyone have a ballpark figure for getting an 07 S geometry sorted?
