Shouldn't be able to feel aything like that unless the diff is in the process of unlocking or one tyre is scrabbling for grip a little. Check the tyre pressures first of all?

Welcome btw

This is well-known for giving rise to just the symptoms you describe.

(You missed a mod off your list - you've got a cut down front plate too )

And welcome to the board

thanks for the welcomes guys

True - the owner before me did that... white 'H' badges and no honda above the 's2000' logo.

The car is an import - and as far as i was aware was permitted to have plates that have 2.5" lettering compared to the UK standard 3" because of the square size restrictions?

I've just finished touching up the tail pipes with a bit of wet'n'dry.... it gives a nice brushed aluminuim look!

I'm getting all the dishes on the wheels polished right now and am picking up the wheels tomorrow..I'll get 2 new rear tyres and make sure the pressures are right. The problem is hardly noticable when i'm travelling with a passenger (a fat one)! lol

Can anyone recommend tyres for the rear (275/35/18) that have a rim protector and are cheap/hardwearing?

thanks

That's a whole can of worms - and TBH this really isn't the kind of car where you want to be putting cheap-and-cheerful rubber on it, especially on the driven wheels.

No idea whether they have rim protectors but Toyo T1Rs have been popular with members running 18" wheels. Good all-weather grip although I'm not sure how hard-wearing they are. If they're available in that size, F1 Eagle GSD3s are also worth considering.
