soooo in between painting the bumpers i decided i needed to finally make my leds that i have been planning for some time.. along with the leds the side corners had to go so i went with jetta crystal clear corners muchhhh nicer.. so here we go...

RESISTORS


AMBER LED COVER.. (RADIO SHACK DID NOT HAVE AMBER LEDS GRRRR)


BRIGHTEST LEDS U CAN GET (WHITE)


BREAD BOARD


JETTA CORNER


------------LET THE GAMES BEGIN------------

MODDED JETTA CORNER WITH HONDA CONNECTOR


LED ON BREAD BOARD WITH SINGLE RESISTOR




CORNERS AND LEDS


JUNK I WAS TESTING STUCK ON IN THE TRUNK AND THE OTHER IN THE TAG
NO SINCE WASTING THEM RIGHT??


DOME LIGHTS (SAME LEDS NO RESISTOR 3V DROP PER LED IN SERIES)

looks nice. Modifry did a similar mod a whiel back with the vw bug corners that were already LED's. NIce mod, it's a much better looking side marker. How did you mount them to the car?

i had to trim the fender a little bit on the corners of the hole where they stick out.. but i just used 3m tape on all sides.. it came out really clean thanx for the comment...
