Default shifter karts

Well looks like I found a home for the S. A nice lo d lady that drives liek a bat out of hell drove it todayand loved it. So I'll be getting a boat soon. I still need to satisfy my addiction for speed so I'm gettting into a shifter kart. Does anyone know of any good sites that offer oddball parts and build advice? I want to rig up paddle shifters instead of a jockey shift. I already have a kart in mind. It's at a friends shop and boasts a suzuki 650 poweplant. Any help would be appreciated.

www.ekartingnews.com

Pretty large forum there for karting... lots of bs there, but you can wade through it i'm sure.

As for your buddies kart, don't go near it... stick with a kart that they will ACTUALLY allow to run at a real kart track, and then you cna go out and enjoy yourself in a kart that handles the way it is supposed to, rather than just being a dumb tire smoking machine...

Just my $.02
