Default older oem floormats vs new oem floormats

i need to purchase a set of floormats for my s2000 (got stolen along with the seats) and i noticed that the new 09 s2000 we have in the showroom has two holes on the driverside whereas my 01 mats that got stolen only had one hole and this made the mat get all twisted and deformed lol. so im wondering if the new ones would work on my older car. the only problem i forsee is bolting down the bracket for the 2nd hole. i have no problems cutting my carpet if there is actually a hole to bolt the bracket down to. i just dont know for sure if there is a hole there and i dont want to remove the carpet to find out since maybe one of you might know for sure

I don't think there is a hole there. Would have to make a 2nd bracket yourself.

no hole, you need to drill a hole for the bracket. i ordered one from handa-accessories.com

I've done this on my AP1... it's pretty simple. Just drill the new hole.
