Default How to repair fiber glass

I bought a new carbon fiber hood but in the transport one of the corners got damaged , I dont know anything about this but when i look at it what got damaged is like the clear coat on top of the fiber texture, It looks like some kind of thick clear plastic. Can I buy some kind of product that i can apply to that little corner?? I don't know if I explained myself correctly but tomorrow I will post some pictures. Thanks for your help in advanced.

Edit : Pics added, bad quality though..

Take a piece of fine grit sand paper, and sand it down while running water over the area your sanding.

maybe try taking the picture slightly further away from the piece so that it's in focus, might be damage to the shape of the thing rather than just a simple sand and clear job...
