First of all I will assure everyone that I have been searching the internet and these forums for over an hour trying to find answers.
1. Everything I have found on the e-manage shows that there is only one part number. Does that mean that there is only one unit made? Meaning would one out of any car work in my car with the proper harness?
2. It seems that most people recommend the boomslang harness but there are a few different options for that harness. I have a full exhaust and am planning to get an intake so what harness would be the best for my application?

1. E-Manage Ultimate is a universal EMU. There are two different version, e-manage blue and emanage Ultimate. I think there is also a v-emanage? Ultimate is the upgraded version of blue which comes with more options for tuning.

2. Lots of people use boomslang harness because it works. Go with what works unless you want to cut into your OEM harness which I doubt.

 

yes, universal unit, but model specific harness. you only want to use the ultimate, the blue is garbage.

the harness isn't dependent on the mods you want to install, only the make and model of the car.

 

I have the emanage ultimate, I had problems cutting into the factory harness on a MY08, so ordered a Boomslang, no problems and works very well! Highly recommended, also go for the air/water one, as I been told its the most useful one, but is just what I have been told.
