Upgrading my valvetrain

Default Upgrading my valvetrain

So i am doing the head on my car and im going with supertech valves, springs and titanium retainers...my only question here is do i go with 80mm springs or 92mm? i am not planning on boosting the car any time soon, just want something reliable...

Don't you mean 80lb/in or 92lb/in. This is the spring rate expressed in lb's per inch.

Either will do for your application. The 80 lb/in ones will have less timing chain chatter. The 92 lb/in ones will be better at 9000+rpms.

oh yeah i meant lbs.... i heard that for NA motors to go with the 80 lbs , and if its turbo to go with 92 lbs...just wanted to make sure
