ive read alot up on the j's and alot of people have said that its really loud under the hood

and that it wasnt much of a gain.

Umm, 1500 is enough to go ahead and get a good ball bearing turbo and a set of injectors, or a turbo manifold, dump tube, down pipe, and wastegate. Or your AEM EMS and a wideband. Or a nice clutch, install, and catback and test pipe...

You get where I am going here? Why buy a $1000-$1500 intake when you already plan to replace it? Just save for your turbo stuff, or go ahead and buy a few pieces. You will be happier, make more power in the long run, and once you buy a few pieces you will be more likely to stick with it.

There is a much better use of $1500

J's intake is not loud at all. normal drving sounds like stock, and at wot, its a tad bit louder.

i barely noticed a change in sound when i installed my J's. Performance was affected nicely though..
I think J's is the best still..
