Default newb and looking for good suspension

coming from multiple civic background builds. ive owned tein SS full suspension sets and also a koni and ground control setup.

now that im in the s2k scene - wondering what is a make/model i should be looking.

i know enough to know i do not like to do things the CHEAP way, but im also not know baller.

im wondering what you guys would recommend and what would it be running me. I'm used to being dropped about 2in - but i know the s2k sits low as it is.

Megan raceing coilovers are pretty popular as are the buddyclubs. Megans are about $800 and BC are like $900 last time I checked.

Depends what you're planning to do with your S...Track, canyon Runs, cruise, auto X, Drag racing, show car/trailer queen? Then we can start suggesting some coilover systems available that are best suited for your choices of use.

I got the PSS9's

I highly recommend them. You cant go wrong. My car is my daily driver and its very comfortable. On a low setting I would say its more comfortable than the stock suspension. But take the settings up and it handles like a beast.

Mine's a DD and I choose to go with the Tein Springs to drop it 1" and then used whiteline F & R sways with a whiteline X-brace. The car is really tight but doesn't kill you (it didn't kill my wallet either). I wasn't looking for the cheapest option but the best one to suite me.

I also DD mine and went with the Tien springs and I have the Password JDM front strut bar. It rides and handles really well considering its still basically stock. I havent ever heard of the Whiteline stuff. is it pretty good quality?

Your next step is to figure out whether you wanna get springs and sway bars or coilovers...

Springs are biased really, you can go with Tein, Eibach(Had these before my coilovers), swift, or espirils(friend has these and loves the ride height but says the rear ride quality is a little too stiff for him(front is just fine, though).

If you are going towards the coilover route then the Bilstien Pss9's will do just fine...along with Koni/Ground controls(have your own custom spring rates ordered), Tein flexes and buddy Club N+ or the N1's. Basically in the $600-$1400 price range.

That's all I can suggest...I think my setup is overkill for you, IMO.

Good luck in your choice.

We run KW's on most of our race cars and we have always been satisfied but it all comes down to what you looking to get out of your parts and how much your willing to spend
