Default Password JDM S2000 Front Strut Bar Help

So I purchased my Password JDM front strut bar about a week ago. As I was installing it I noticed that the cruise control cable was getting in the way on the drivers side. I couldnt route the cable over the bar and as of right now it is under the bar. I noticed that it was putting pressure on the cable itself kinda pushing it down. Its been on there for abour for or five days now and I have used cruise since but am worried that this may cause some problems in the future. Is there something that I can to do prevent this? I will have pictures posted up of the pressure this afternoon ( its raining here so I have to wait til I can get home and in a garage ) so that you can see what I mean. I know some of the people from Password browse this forum often so maybe someone will see it and help me out or if any other s2k owners have the bar and handled the problem themselves let me know. I dont want to go off and mess with it and mess something up worse than it needs to be. Who knows maybe I am just paranoid and it will be just fine. Better safe than sorry though. Thanks for the help!

Ok, I am not gonna be mean because you already bought the bar, but you know they are USELESS on our cars. They do nothing but add weight and somewhere for you to lean when looking/working on the engine.

With that being said, search is your friend

Should have included an adaptor for the cruise control cable.

Give them a call. Looking at the picture and reading the site, I see no mention of an adaptor. Could you undo it and run it through that hole that is in the end of the brace? JW.

For those who said front strut tower bars are useless on our cars, they are not entirely correct. If your looking for a major change it will not do that, but it does stiffen up the front end of the car a bit and going around corners feels a lot tighter too. I have the same bar and it's very light weight, so weight is of no concern. Mine did not come with the adapter either, but I just put in two rubber grommets in the holes of the brace plate and routed the cruise control cable through them. This way the cable will not get scraped or scuffed up by the edges of the holes.

that sounds like that is going to be my best bet. Did you go to auto zone and just pick up a pack of misc gromets or was there a specific size you used? Also was resetting the cruise cable hard? Havent ever messed with it before
