Default AP2 4.77 final drive review

Hey guys so I got 4.77 gears put in my 05 AP2 and it really put the cherry on top of my mods. Right now for performance I have T1R 70RT single exhaust, K&N FIPK intake, JVT header, Apexi Neo tune and 4.77 gears. Before I got gears I felt I was lacking low end power. Due to having a full exhaust system I lost some back pressure. Also before gears my car felt it pulled it's hardest in 3rd-6th, since full exhaust helps you top end.

4.77 review-

The cars feels a lot better low end. I really enjoy how it feels in the city. Dont have to give it as much gas and if I do give it the same amount of gas it sounds like a race car haha and have to shift rather quickly till about 5th gear. I believe the 5th adn 6th gear are alittle longer that is why it feels that way. The car sits at about 5K at 80 mph. My vtec kicks in at 5K so this will help me from speeding . Also noticed in 6th you can past about anyone with little gas. I also got on it from 1st-4th and WOW!!!! The car pulls very hard and is a very noticeable difference. My butt dyno a huge . Well I dont want to make this to long, but if you have any questions let me know. I really think our cars should of came like this out of the factory makes the car way more fun to drive! .. One more thing I also feel like I need to remove the CDV on the AP2 tranny so it doesn't make my clutch slip as much because I feel like it is hlding me back. Can I just replace my AP2 slave cylinder with a AP1 so I dont have to deal with removing stuff from my AP2 slave cylinder. Will that work?

Just got mine in as well, love them, the ap2's are like that with the CDV because it prevents a lot of the shock our drivetrain would endure without it.

So it was about 95 degrees today so I had to use my AC. WOW. Even with the AC on and in 95 degree heat with high humidity the cars still feels stronger then my car before without the AC even on! I was very surprised and really enjoy this mod. I would highly recommend this mod if you don't like your car bogging/ feeling sluggish in the heat. Makes city driving very easy!

Any idea if this will void power train warranty. Am pretty sure it would, but thought I'd ask anyways.

80mph = 5k rpm? What's 8k rpm end up being? Haha.
