Unhappy Should i be worried or am i just a paranoid idiot?

Well i received my gears in the mail from Hardtopguy and upon further inspection found this

Now I'm no genius by all means. So can someone confirm for me that won't be a problem when installed and prove to me I'm just a paranoid idiot?

I really can't make out what it is exactly; I understand it is the install part but which part exactly? Is it like deep metal scatches? or just a blackish mark?

Is it surface discoloration, or can you feel a difference? I wouldn't worry too much about the outer shell if it's just cosmetic. That surface pressure fits into the bearing cap and doesn't slide on anything. Is it light surface rust? Some oil and a scotch-brite will polish it right up if it is.

duh its an install part j/k

it looks like some sort of sleeve or bearing. Imo, i wouldnt be worried. I would just try to clean it up with some wd40 or something.
