Default METH/WATER INJ ON N/A

Has anyone put meth injection on a naturally aspirated engine yet? i know it would have some gains but im just curious how much of a gain it would show. meth water injection is a great system and i dont quite understand why they dont have the systems on cars stock. Anybody give it a shot yet i've been thinking about doing it but if its gonna be like a 5 hp upgrade i might wait a little longer. Thanks

It should cool your Intake temp and let you run more timing and help with heat. Not sure what the end result would be.

it also boosts octane. and i figure do to our relatively higher stock CR it should help with heat spots and heat disapation. Someone on this forum has to have done it. i looked through the archives and nothing bud

Already been discussed, do a search or go to N/A forum and look in there, relatively recent thread.

Our ECU maps can go to 93 octane supposedly. I can only get 91 no lead, and that already has alcohol. So...in theory, in a hot place you could run an aquamist and get a few horsepower on a stock engine if you were careful.

If you start dumping any real amount of alcohol you can get fatal cyl wash. It is higher octane, but much lower energy content. The trck is to get an octane bump, but not have so much alcohol that you lose power from its low density.

So spend 800 on a good kit and the same on dyno runs and get back to us.
