Post What do you think my dyno numbers will be tuned?

I put down 218WHP / 150TQ with just a Injen RD Cold air, UNTUNED and no other mods are on my car. I had it dynoed about 2 months ago and those numbers are SAE corrected. I will be getting tuned with an E-Manage & wondering what you guys think I'll put down? I

If you move VTEC down to 4500 or so RPM you should pick up some power in the mid. Other than that I really don't see you getting all that much if any.

i like those numbers. definately lower vtec, but without any supporting mods ie header, tp, cat back, your gains will be minimal.

those are very healthy dynojet untuned numbers. highest i have ever seen on a dynojet SAE corrected bolt on s2k is 230. so theres not much more room.

i would recommend some other bolt ons and then a tune. because with supporting mods, you would be able to get more hp out of them and you could lower vtec more.

someone explained to me, why you shouldn't lower vtec without bolt-on once, but i forgot the reason. but that is my 2 cents.

Stock form S2000 can lower the VTEC point a couple hundred rpms earlier and it will make power, they came out of the factory with it slightly too high that way when people test drove the s2k, they felt the "kick" from the VTEC, if the vtec point is in the right spot, you shouldnt feel any "kick" at all, it should be a nice smooth power band

i have mine at 4200 and there is still a little kick, a 10 whp kick to be exact.

a little off topic, but liquid helix, do you still have that K&N intake?

You'll gain in the midrange quite a bit but hardly anything at all up top. The F22C doesn't really have any room at all at the top end for N/A wtih basic bolt ons and a tune. In the midrange, my tuner found around 20 whp & 20 wtq but my top end didn't improve much.

I put down 224 whp & 155 wtq with the following mods:

K&N Intake
T1R 63mm TP
T1R 63mm exhaust
Greddy EMU

A friend of mind had that same setup except with a J's header and he only made 2 whp & 2 wtq more than I did.
