I just can't justify spending $900-2000 for a header to gain minimal power. I wish these egay headers made some kind of positive difference. Anyone ever try one out and dyno it compared to the stocker?

The thing you have to consider is that the OEM header is a really good design. The "TiR Race Header" provides no indication whether any research was done or if it was another design that they copied. I'd say save the $70 (+time for installation) and take your girlfriend out for a nice dinner

... or just buy it and dyno it. The official header thread seems to be lacking information on this one.

I haz no girlfriend . Girls don't like S2000 with shot paint and a mural on the rear bumper made of stickers with the most noticable one saying "I <3 Sluts"....LOL.

Project cars, gotta love them haha.

Nah I'm spending my 70 bucks on oem new red floor mats.

Type in S2000 header, buy the "gold" looking one by kid racing or by the battleground seller, that header is a copy of the J's or hytech one of those... its about 4-500 and well worth it, i just ordered mine monday, hopefully it gets here tomorrow (friday)

Secondly, there are two types of ebay headers, one is a copy of the Megan, which is a decent gain and a slight reduction in weight, the second is a copy of the SS Dc sport which is utter junk. So go find a picture of the megan and then match it up with an ebay header.

dont worry about the header. what mods do you have now? VAFC + tune = best bang for the buck.

Where's your proof to back up these claims that they are worth it. Are you willing to get a base line dyno before the header install and another dyno run after the header install? Definitive proof is in the dyno.
