Default Photography.....

I love photography, but Im not that good. Also being new to the area, Im not sure where/if there are any really must shoot area's/places.

Was wondering if anyone wanted to do like a photo walk?? Be it downtown nashville, some cavern, waterfalls, any place that would be a good fit.

Post away and lets get something going.

Purely a rookie here and always trying to learn more, so my advice is minimal.

However downtown has a lifetime worth of photo opportunities. For local a local nature setting, you might try Radnor lake. You will be hard pressed not to see a lot of wildlife during a hike.

I've just got an XTi with Kit lense for now. I want a new lense, but Im trying to get another s2k at the moment so, no photo gear for now

Older XT with a 28-135 lens... Considering the majority of my images end up on interweb, it's more than enough camera for me.

That said, I'm a gadget guy and I've been eye-balling the T1i. It's a LOT of camera, for not much coin. I've shot with some of the bigger cameras, and just see so reason to move up to them

Once you get back into photography, hunt for the lens I use. It's the kit lens for 40D's and 5D's so they can be had VERY reasonably, and your image quality will sky-rocket.

definitely check out Radnor lake. post up on the dam and keep your eyes open for otters. I'm certain you could get some quality otter pictures with good timing.

I will def look into this. Something a bit newer and nicer is always a plus. If you happen to come across any let me know!

Yup, I like photography. Just picked up a Nikon D700 and a 28-70 f2.8. It's been a while since I've shot, so I feel like a rookie again...

Man, I wish I actually knew something about Canon gear. Been a Nikon whore my whole life...

UPS didn't deliver my D700 today, but I'm camping out to make sure I get it tomorrow.
