Default I/H/E match

I was planning on using PWJDM intake + J's header coupled + T1R70 RT exhaust in a F20 (tuned using AEM EMS).... is this the best power combination???

From what I have read in each one of the posts (0fficial post of each item) they are among the best....

Also once the i-vtec system is done I will be getting that to, I want to stay N/A keep the reliability and do not want to open the engine...

feedback is appreciated

The J's header is good for something off the shelf. I wouldn't recommend the 70RT unless you want to go deaf soon. The T1R 70EM is much quieter yielding nearly the same gains.

I can't speak for the PWJDM intake. The only thing I can say is that it does have fitment issues.

That sounds like a great set of items there..

You said you dont want to open the engine up but I think it will be required to install ivtec

I am aware of the fitment issues of the pwjdm intake but I believe (from what I have read) that it gives the best performance.....

From what I gather the i-vtec system will require changing the intake cam gear..... but will not require to open the engine up (as in removing the head).....

The ivtec system will require new cams. Something about the lobes spinning in the opposite direction like the k20. Other than that, great choice of parts.

I have a 70rt and honestly it is really loud but I love it. Will not make you go deaf.. I am young and not a grandpa tho... t1r 70rt is very deep and bassy. Sounds very bad ass

You're combo is good. You won't find a better one off the shelf.

I tend to over exaggerate at times. It is loud but not deafening.
