i am surprised someone has not come up a K20/K24 to S2000 transmission adapter plate/bellhousing.

K series motors have a taller deck height so you can have a better stroke to rod ratio if you go 2.4L. There's also a lot more aftermarket options for headers and cams and the bores aren't FRM so you have more piston options as well.

more torque thru-out the powerband that I-Vtec provides. look at this K20 versus F20 comparison (bottom of page).
