Hello guys,
my car is a 00 , I recently swapped to a ap2 2.2 motor to get into the world of NA.
Having been on a supercharger at 425hp on my ap1 and now going NA I lost 185 hp !!
But on a better note, I loved turnout. Car feels very responsive and strong from 2k rpm to redline.
I was not able to reuse my 70mm tb so i just stayed with oem for the time.
The t1r em exhaust gave me a surprise because it seemed to love the tune. It got much louder imo.
Having the research under my belt on exhausts, I tried to maximize the exhaust flow and used a small test pipe (63mm) and larger secondary exhaust ( the 70mm) to give me a little more tq.
So torgue numbers I have 155 at 3500, 165 tq at 5,000 and 170tq at 6,500 .
nice peaks for midrange, max being at 170tq @ 6500 rpm
Power wise Im pumping out 239.7whp (lol..) at 8100 rpm .
Just shy of 240 but then again NA is tough to get .3 whp lol......
Vtech is set at 3500
fuel cut is at 8500
2step is at 4500 , so ill get off the line with ~155tq on an increasing slope of tq to maximize the wheel spin for take off.
(ill play with 3500 rpm to see if it feels better)

VTEC @ 3500
I don't think I've even heard of tuning it that low before. At the same time I guess since there are such thing as VTEC killer cams...
me neither !
i guess it can be done?? Its really loud ....
Apparently i did my homework right and got the car to like vtec that low.
Its all related, kinda like what i did using different exhaust on FI.
He started at 6 and worked down to 3.5 and that seemed to be the spot.
