Default Mulholland Race Course,,, ops Drive

We've all heard of it (maybe not, some are too young) but here's the story for anyone interested.

Sorry for another car post. I know there are more interesting things to talk about.

I was there once when I was a kid, but I didn't have a car.

Been there ... done that!

Better yet, Matt and I went riding with friends in the high desert above LA on crotch rockets. A buck twenty five has never been so thrilling!!

I launched my first car, a 2-door 1970 Datsun 510, off of Mulholland Drive when I was 19. My car came to rest on an incline, with the front end stuck into a chain link fence and the driver's rear quarter panel, held up by a tree trunk. Had to have it towed back onto the road. Not a scratch on me. Dented the car where the trunk was but it still ran fine.

That was a NICE car! Good on the track as well. Glad you didn't get injuried.

I didn't like that car but it kind of feel into my lap when it's owner died. I paid $1100 dollars for it and sold it 5 years later for $1000.
