Duquesne Incline - GPS - 1197 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh PA 15219

Heinz History Center – Pittsburgh’s growth and development over the years. Not a museum about pickles.

Pittsburgh Pirate Baseball – PNC Park

Mount Washington – For a truly beautiful view of Pittsburgh from the top of Mount Washington. Park at the top and ride the incline down and up the mountain.

Pittsburgh Zoo – Rated as one of the best in the country – 1½ hour from hotel

Phipps Botanical Garden – Yawn, but nice if you’re into this stuff. 1½ hour from hotel

Pittsburgh Aviary – For those bird brains in our group. 1½ hr. from hotel

Pittsburgh Science Center – Mainly for kids

Carnegie Museum – Perfect for Vintage – bunch of old bones on display.

Carnegie Museum of Art – Talk about yawn, but if your into it. 1½ hr. from hotel

Strip District – Sunday Morning only. Foods of all kinds and lots of Pittsburgh stuff

Gateway Clipper Fleet – Boat tours on the Three Rivers

Beaver Run Race Track – If you want to get some track time in call or email them for information

Pittsburgh Rivers Casino – 30 minutes from hotel

Meadows Harness Racing and Casino – One hour from Hotel

I highly recommend Mt. Washington. There are some excellent restaurant's there and the view of Pittsburgh is awesome!

^Don't forget to buy some Yingling beer. The oldest beer company in the U.S. . They brew the same amount of beer in a year, that Budweiser brews in a day.

Don't forget about Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright....run by a Conservancy (Google for info) I think that Patty and others went there the last time in the area for FC. Reservations may be req'd for tours.

Also, the memorial to the Flight 293(?number) in Somerset PA....maybe 2 hours to the SW.
