Delaware Gene was reflecting on how many meet pics he had of Spring Fling 04. So...here's an idea. Post your favorite pics from the meets you've attended (not just Vintage meets) - maybe a couple from each. In order by meet date would be good. May be hard to narrow them down, but try, so this thread doesn't get huge in a hurry! The ones that really have special meaning to you, or are just plain funny. Tell us why it's one of your faves, which meet the pics are from and, if possible, any peeps' names. This will be a great history lesson for the newer members and a nice trip down memory lane for the rest of us. Let's see 'em!

 

^This one brings tears to my eyes. It's from Fall Colors 2004, taken at the Cranberry Township Marriott where Maury's Spring Fling will be next month. It was the first time most (or all) of us, had met Tom and Hilly, and I don't think I've ever wanted to met someone in person so much, after "talking" to them on S2ki. At this point, Tom was cancer free.

 

Good lord it would take me hours to upload. I have them going back to 2002. Would be impossible to pick one or two.

 

If you have 'em THAT old, I would vote allow you 3 or 4, Carmen

 

^ I suggested one or two *from each meet*. Pretty sure most have uploaded pics to albums as they went along. So just a matter of picking them. You may have a bit more to do. Nice project for you when you have some free time.

This is showing a couple of the tour groups....taken from the Obs Tower right across from the Eisenhower Farm, and on the Gettysburg "18 mile loop" drive that many of us have taken more than once at S2000 events.

Deb: As the OP, why don't you "call out" a range of years for each grouping....if you want to try to keep the pic posts in "rough chronological order"

Just a suggestion....

 

No, I don't care about that. I was just thinking each person could put his/hers in date order. It would be too much to try to keep all of them in date order as we go.

 

Carmen, I was thinking that one way to make it easier to recall and choose, would be to search for Vintage pics threads that are already in the gallery and then just copy selected pics to this thread -- assuming the pics have not been deleted by the original posters.

 

Whatever is easiest for peeps to post.
