Default Are your car mirrors adjusted correctly?

My dad sent me the link above. I readjusted the mirrors on my Ody a few days ago ,as per the video, and I have to admit it was a little strange at first. I am now getting use to it but I still don't trust it completely. I drove the S2K yesterday with the top down and with the mirrors still in the "incorrect" positions. It's not a big deal with the top down and I will wait and see how things go in the Ody before I mess with the S. With the S being so small and "darty" (not the driver, but the car has a mind of its own), here's hoping that those in larger vehicles adjust their mirrors appropriately.

What do you think about this technique?

I have always adjusted my mirrors in a different way but with the same result. I adjust them when I have a car in my blind spot, where if I turn my head I won't see them, so I set my mirror then, so I can see them. Easy to do at a red light.

Don't be a grump, Bill. I hate it when someone says do a search.

I did a search and came up with these two threads that talked about adjusting mirrors. Not sure if they are what Legal Bill was referring to or it.

(Patty, actually I like to do searches. I think it is fun and challenging to see what can be found.)

Adjusting Mirrors 1

Adjusting Mirrors 2

(These are just 2 threads that I found very quickly doing a search under "adjust mirrors." There may be other threads, too, but I should be getting ready to go to work and don't have more time to search right now.)

I'll start a "things Patty hates" list.

My method is similar to Patties. While I am on the highway, I get into the middle lane and try to adjust my mirrors so that as cars that are passing me disappear from the rear view mirror, they appear in the side view mirror.

No problem. Just letting you know it has been discussed at length. I'm sorry Patty made you think I was posting with a grumpy tone of voice.

You like keeping those lists don't you?

Surely there must be a few things you dislike? I'd like to start a list!
