Life: Anyone watching
I have trouble watching anything dying- even if it is the natural order of things. That said, I do love all nature shows ( just not one guy eating another). "Nature" on PBS is a favorite. Talk about photography!
I've been fast forwarding through some of the segments because they seem like remakes of Nature or Nova episodes of the past. (And superficial remakes at that) Pretty pictures though.
Some of the how-we-got-the-shot segments at the ends of the episodes have been more interesting than the episodes themselves.

I found the stoat chasing the rabbit particularly interesting. The rabbit is faster; the stoat counts on endurance to wear it down and catch it as it tires. During the chase, the stoat had a number of opportunities to leave the rabbit it was chasing and take after another that was closer; it stayed focused on its original target as it passed opportunity after opportunity to switch to a different rabbit that was closer. Of course, changing targets would have put the stoat behind a fresh, untired rabbit and spelled certain failure for its hunt.

I'd love to know how many hours of video are shot to come up with the 90-120 seconds they seem to spend on any one topic.
