Default How does your garden grow?

Well, the guy with the green thumbs is at it again. The plants are doing great. Memorial Day weekend is generally the start of outside planting. The plants will go on the deck in a frame in mid May.

Some vinca flowers. These flowers LOVE the heat and don't need a lot of water. Great for sunny areas.

More flowers, veggies, but no

So what are you up to this year?

I'm working over-time to kill a bumper crop of dandelions.

You should hire Rick. Our lawn is dandelion free.

Not me, Emil. It's all Rick. He has the green thumb gene. Started them from seed a month or so ago. He starts various plants at different times. Somehow he knows how much water, light, fertilizer they need.

I'm just the outside planting assistant.

I bought the Forsythia from the local conservation dept. a few years ago, they were 1 ft sticks with roots.

Also got the red twig dogwoods in front of the car from them.

The Weeping Cherry came with the house.
