Old cars, gardens, art museum and miniatures
Was going to put this in Odds and Ends, but there are quite a few pics for folks with different interest, so here goes.
We went to Heritage Plantation in Sandwich, MA. Gardens and museums. Unfortuantely, we were about two weeks too early for the blooming of the Rhododendron, but some of the azaleas still had color.

There are cars from "back in the day" the newest was a beautiful 1962 Corvette in a sand color, that pic didn't come out well at all.
1930 Cord

Yellow and green Packard or Deusenburg? Colors reminded me of our 1959 Chevy Wagon

One of the first cars used in Presidential motorcade

A few others, you can guess what they are.....

Rick remembers oil bottles like this from when his Dad owned a gas station

Reserved for a few more after dinner.....
As promised..
A 100 year old carousel, as well as other "animals" from other carousels. The antlers on the deer are real, the sign informed, real antlers were more durable than wood or other material.

Ship's figurehead, they also had many other carved wood statues.

The miniatures, and a bit of info regarding them. They were made by a couple in Delaware.

And last the windmill, used by millers, often old sea captains who had experience handling sails.

Thanks Lainey. I"ve never been there.
All older stuff and all in pristine condition, but gardens weren't quite ready.
