Default Memorial Day weekend plans?

We will be at home. It's calmer that fighting everyone on the roads. And the pool will open Sat. We will go see my parents on Sat - it's my dad's 94th birthday. Sun, I'm sure we will go to Rolling Thunder for awhile. Always a event. Several hundred thousand motorcycles parading from the Pentagon across the Memorial Bridge to the National Mall. Takes about four hours. Weather promises to be great!!

With the nice weather, I'll probably be doing a scouting run on Saturday for the Tomcatt. Rt. 555 may not be closed other than the extreme north end of it, so we'll check it out (I'm also calling ODOT to see what I can find out).

Sunday we'll be spending hanging out and grilling at a friend's farm about 1.5 hours south of us.

No plans Monday.

Saturday is also my birthday. I'm being taken out for dinner, then I expect to be working for the rest of the weekend on any one of three houses. I also have a couple of exams to write this weekend, so not much playing for me this weekend.

Lots of Birthdays. Saturday is also Rick's birthday. Dinner with some friends. On Sunday my local sister is hosting a gathering/shower for my nephew (from NY) and his bride to be.

Rick has more planting of flowers to do, I get to watch.

Figured that. Don't see it yet, though.
