Everyone,

After my post in the "official" TCR thread I received a couple of responses so I decided to start this thread to see how many people are interested in having dinner at Villa Da Vinci on Friday evening at about 7:30. This could be perhaps a little earlier after talking with the restaurant as this place is very popular and is very busy on Friday evenings.

Last year, they were very accommodating to the twenty-two of us that ate there. They had joined several tables together and the server was very accommodating at splitting out the checks per couple.

IMHO the food is good, although nothing to write home about. The portions are large which may explain it's popularity.

A few of us ate there at the third TCR in 08 which is what prompted me to go back last year. If you wish to get a second opinion PM me and I will ask the "other party" if it is OK to have you PM them to get their opinion.

Reservation for twenty-four made for 7:30 P.M under Honda S-2000 Group. We will be able to order off the full menu, not a limited menu that they generally do for groups this large.

Plan on meeting in the lobby (or out front under the portico) at 7:00. We will saddle up and leave by 7:15 as our reservation is at 7:30
As the right turn and then an immediate left is a bit tricky at that intersection by the hotel Google maps suggest making a right on Pike Street and then looping around the clover leaf. This may be easier to do and stay together.

 

Matt, I'm not ignoring this. We just need to get nearer to the time before we make plans.
