Here ya go!

My cousin from NC is coming to town. Some family members and other cousins are decided to get together for a visit and pizza. I got ready to join them this evening, cleaned up, re-did make up and hit the road.

Lately I've had a weird schedule and often don't realize the day/date. Imagine my surprise when I was the first to arrive for the gathering, 15 minutes after the start time and none of the "company" had arrived. Imagine my surprise when I realized my sister, the host, was not home. I started to think about when my cousin said she was arriving, and what today's date might be. DUH!! I was a week early for the party. I re-did my makeup for nothing!!

My sister showed up before I left. We chuckled about this as years ago we had communication issues and ended up at different locations of the same chain restaurant when we planned to eat together, and it happened more than once.

I gotta say scatter brained memory sux, but I know what I'm doing next Wednesday evening.

Here's mine (again)...similar to Lainey's

A year or two ago, our Habitat for Humanity Development $$ committee had their monthly meetings in a neat coffee bar in center city Philly. So I drove about 1/2 hour to the spot; found a parking place a couple blocks away; walked to the bar and ordered a Tea Latte Grande and sat down to wait for the others....as I was a couple minutes early. Well, no one showed up and I realized that the meeting was the NEXT evening

More recently, I again drove into Philly; parked and walked to the neat bistro to meet two former colleagues for lunch and I got a table and ordered an Iced Tea; Again, no one showed up....as I was a day early

For a true older ....as you knew (before forgetting) ...Every Day is Saturday

At least being early you were still able to correct the situation...better tan being a day late.

I'm getting really nervous about myself since you folks obviously think that these things are out of the ordinary.

Two weeks ago I had scheduled a lunch meeting with Pepsi to discuss the different options that our companies can do together. I scheduled a meeting at a local restaurant called Atria's. I didn't realize that there were two of these restaurants within five miles of each other and you guessed it I went to the wrong restaurant. Customer thought it was funny, I was totally embarrassed. Still waiting to hear if we got the account.

My memory has never been a strong point and now it's scary bad. I'd post up things I've done, usually involving forgetting, but I can't remember them. I know Jerry will help when he remembers them, aka Mr. Flashers.
