My First S2000 Opinions/Mods suggestion WELCOME
I always wanted a real sport car that I could take to the track and have a maximum of fun,
without sacrificing the wallet just to maintain such car.
I want opinions from the community of S2ki on how the car looks and
what should I do as mods to keep the car clean.
All opinions/suggestions are welcome
Im already thinking for parts such as :
-Shift knob Skunk2
-Coilovers Buddy Club N+
-OEM rear spoiler Carbon fiber to match the hood??
-Tanabe strut bar
-Trim S2000 emblem
-small radio antenna
Car color is Silverstone came with enkei RPF1, AEM V2 intake, f/r Hawk HP Plus pads, Seibon carbon fiber hood, Tanabe medalion *muffler*, new set of yokohama S drive and a new soft top

Most people like the BC N1 coils. Roll the fenders! Even if you do not drop the car a ton this can save you if something does hit.
Such a small piece like a rear spoiler (I assume you mean the 3rd brake light cover one) over contrast on a silver car and looks out of place. Some people like them though, so find pics and decide. You can always paint it later. I think the back looks naked without the small spoiler at least.
strut bars do not improve handling, only for looks on such a rigid car like the S. Have you looked at the saner, whiteline, comptech, or Eibach sway bars?
Trim the emblem? Does that mean remove it? If you decide to then make sure to spend time buffing so you can't see the marks from where your paint has slightly faded
If you listen to the radio stations then you could lose reception if you aren't reasonably close to the station. The OEM one is not that high and personally I've never noticed the antenna in any photo either short style or OEM. Just a preference thing I suppose.
Now onto my opinion. The car is a blast on the track in stock form. You need to lower it to make it aggressive enough for the hood. It's your car so just be tasteful and do your own thing. You're not making it flush and undriveable so I applaud your questions. If the car is a daily driver I would remove the AEM intake and go with a FIPK from K&N, but only because I almost hydro-locked my car with a CAI. Every S needs a front lip painted to match.
Driver mods.
1. SA2010 Helmet ($300+)
2. Sign up for autocross events (Anywhere from $20-$75/event)...do at least 5-10 before attempting to do number 3.
3. Sign up for HPDE events (Anywhere from $100-$500/event).
The first $1000 you spend on learning to drive and drive properly will pay for itself tenfold moreso than any shift knob or other car mod could even come close.
Those events will tell you what mods #4 thru #10 should be.

I can't tell what tires you've got, but if they aren't so great I'd invest in a good set. Check out RE-11, Star Spec, AD08 (in that order if you ask me, but damn those Bridgestones are pricey).
Stereo if you like music at all. Stock one is horrid.
It sounds like you've got a good starting point. I would just maintain and save money for a supercharger/turbo setup if you're going after more power (NA mods don't do much and sometimes actually degrade performance).
