looking to buy ap2 front oem type lip, any ebay recommendations or ones to stay away from cause fitment issues?

Try searching - it's been covered a million times. I bought from Slipstream but they are all more or less the same...

I bought mine from wsa-auto...looks like it would fit but needs a lot of heating. I'm too lazy to do that so I guess I have a rep lip laying around now.

 

I bought one and was going to have it painted. The body shop is usually really mod friendly and they didn't want to touch it. I was luckily able to return it. Most of the time they won't let you. Another reason to possibly stay away.

 

However, this one was made of urethane.
I bought a replica for my sti a few years ago and was happy with it, but it wasn't urethance so it wasn't very flexible and I painted it flat black so I wouldn't have noticed any paint cracking.
