Default Parts to compliment coilovers?

Ok, so I just ordered a coilover kit (kw V3) and I have a few questions about what I need to get in addition to just the coilovers.

Car is an AP1 with ~85k on the odo.

I dont plan to lower the car very much. I dont track the car right now but hope to some time in the future. I plan to get half shaft spacers because my car has quite a few miles. After reading more about suspension I have found that some people recommend toe control arms (rear bump steer kit). My question is, is rear end bump steer so noticeable/dangerous on a lowered car that I really should get a rear toe kit? Some people make it seem like the car will snap over steer without it while others dont seem to even have the kit. Im not worried about spending extra money to make sure the car is safe, I just dont want to be adding unnecessary parts to my car if I am not slamming it.

So, will I end up ruining the safety/performance of my car if I dont get a rear BSK? Tried to read up as much as I could but I couldnt find a straight answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You don't need anything if you're going for a mild drop. You can re-use the spring caps from your oem shocks or buy new ones for about $90.

Handling should be great as long as you get an alignment and have fresh sticky tires.

+1 on getting an alignment, but you might also want to looking into corner balancing.

nice coilovers! If it were me I would hold off on the bump steer kit and and axle spacers. Why? Because you can just swap axel buckets for free and it will have the same effect as axle spacers and your drive line will technically be stronger than a car fitted with axle spacers(weaker due to an extra bolted link in the axles). Also the rear bumpsteer kit isnt really necessary if you dont plan on going below 1.5inches Id say. Im lowered about that much and I havent noticed any bumpsteer on my ap1 compared to stock. If you notice major bumpsteer after lowering then I say get it, its not that detrimental that if you do experience it that you need it fixed asap.Im sure rear BSK's are fine for daily use but some people have reported that after some heavy track duty and daily driving more than a few have reported them failing and snapping in half, it is your duty to inspect these regularly for any cracks or deformations that may form, they just seem to be more trouble than they are worth if you are not competing or tracking heavily. Then again there are many track bred s2ks that run rear bsks but almost all of them inspect them regularly and have had great results. I say install the coilovers, get a good alignment (non stock) and be done with it. Id recommend a legitimate alignment from a shop that specializes in alignments (about 120$ or so), In the future this is what I would run for my alignment, Ive got about 7k on my set of tires and they still have about 80% of life left and thats after 2 track events, canyon runs, and regular daily duties.

F camber -2.0
R camber -2.5
0 Front toe
caster is up to you (stock is fine and feels a little more adaptive to what the wheels are doing, more caster will make the steering a tad bit heavier)

Rear toe 0.2 to 0.3 TOTAL

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. Ill install the coilovers and see how everything is. I planned on getting an alignment as soon as everything feels like its settled and ill read up on corner balancing. Wheels and tires are coming soon too but until then my current tires have a lot of life left in them. Thanks again.
