Crazy! I have s spot for those minis, never cared for them until I drove one for a day. Very neat car, only thing I never like is the Neon engine it used. The good thing the new ones use a pegout engine and its turbo not supercharged, also the turbo is a Variable Geomtry Turbine. Crazy!

BMW is using a Dodge engine? I thought Mercedes was a part of Chrysler, not BMW....

Chrysler supplied the 1.6 liter engine to BMW for the mini since it was released here in the U.S. . Good thing is no longer the same powerplant.

No matter what 1.6l you put in there, it would have sucked with a supercharger. WTF were they thinking?
