i need a HUGE favor..
i know that i've dissapeared for a while now, but just recently, my battery was giving me issues so i changed the battery.. and now, my radio doesn't work. i don't have the manual and the code isn't in my trunk.. so i tried taking the actual radio out (b/c with the serial number i can get the code from the dealer) but i don't know how to take it out... i've tried but i'm retarded!! =[
do you think anyone can help me with this?? please email me!!!

my radio code was inside the glove box on a sticker. did you check there?
I am sure if you go to the dealership with the registration, they will get you the code. some do charge you for it though. (to take out the radio to get some numbers that are printed in the back) although it takes 2 mins to take out the radio, they sometimes charge 1/2 hours which is minimum

thanks everyone for the response..
but i'm friends with a lot of people at south motors honda, and they can't get the code with the VIN #.. it has to be the serial number off of the actual radio.
and i tried holding down the #1 and #6, but that only works on year 2002 and older. i have a year 2000.

If you didn't purchase the car from that specific dealership, and you're not the original owner, then they won't give you the code without the serial number. I purchased my car in ATL, and Rick Case couldn't even pull up my code. I just pulled out the radio and gave it to them and they did it for free. You have to take your car to them though in order for them to give you the code. I have an AP2, so I couldn't really tell you how to remove the radio, but I know you have to remove the flip down cover first, then remove four screws and then it just comes out. I think it's easier for you though because I know the AP2 you have to remove the entire console first. I don't think you have to do that with the AP1.
