Need Opinions
Well as many of you know I lost my S2000 more than a year ago & ended up with a G37S. Well that was a huge mistake. The car is sitting at the dealer waiting for a rep to come look it over b/c the seats are fading from black to white & the dealer refuses to replace the seats even though they see the problem. To make matters worse Infiniti not only advertises by print & through their sales process about a certain Voice Recognition Command( Not that I really use it, but I was charged for the feature & damn if im going to pay for something I dont have or cant use) feature that they have since deleted from the G37, but at no time was I told about this when I bought the car or in a paper work in the manuals. I found this out after 4-5 complaints to the service manager who called on Mon & found out form the tech help line that it was deleted. So right now Infiniti is trying to see if they can get a buyback process started on the vehicle.
Heres my problem I really dont know what to do. If they buy the car back then Im stuck w/ no car & right now my living situation doesn't provide me with access to another car & my other problem is my job isnt paying me anywhere near as much as my last one, so I really don't wanna deal w/ financing. I know most will say take the money & run out & go buy another S2000, but I have the same reservations about buying another one after having my second one stolen 2 twice & totaled on the second theft, causing me to lose my insurance & making me pay alot more money a year for insurance b/c of it and the car will be less secure in my current living situation & a hardtop is NOT an option. |
Sounds to me you are pretty screwed. G/L

Buy a Honda fit and put a K20 in that bitch.
Then let me know the 411 on the swap! |
Bare with me, I'm dyslectic but I don't understand why you need to sell back the car for having Michael Jackson seats? if it's a G37S it should be under warranty, why not replace the seats? worst scenario get some seat covers from Auto Zone, end of story. As for the voice command you know that manufacturers lie all the time about these cool features. Through the voice command I would tell the car to bring back the color , if that doesn't work just screw it, you didn't have it on the S to start with so you can live without it. Otherwise you're going to end up without a cool car that changes colors (paint the out side Chameleon color to match) and no money to buy another one....

Where you went wrong -S2000 + G37S = http://91.121.132.199/gifs/11493.gif Then when the car was driven off the lot G37S + Dealer every other week = http://faisalkhan.com/wp-content/upl...3/vaseline.jpg Defective seats + Dealer not wanting to replace = http://www.webster.edu/~daidu/Images.../SandPaper.jpg Now your situation has complicated. G37S + Nissan Dealer + Defective seats + god knows what other BS they want to through into the equation = http://91.121.132.199/gifs/11493.gif Like i told you before, CANAL THAT BITCH! you will probably get more than what the dealer will give you  |
