Default S2000 friendly shop in Palm Beach County

Hi all,

This is my first post on s2ki, I recently purchased an S2000 near school. I purchased it from the original owner, its a MY2000 AP1 with 70k on the clock, I love everything about the car so far.

I am about to graduate and head to south Florida to start work so I am shipping the car down to FL in the next couple weeks. I am looking for a shop in Palm Beach County that I can trust to work on my S2000. I was hoping for some recommendations from you guys on which shops to use, I checked the sticky and most of the shops were in Miami or Broward county.

Thanks for your responses, can't wait to join this community.

I look forward to another forum member in PBC. The only place I would take my car is KAB Customs but they are way down in Sunrise. Luckily Im a formally trained mechanic and I dont often need to take my car to someone else. I always offer my tools, garage, and help with any work that needs done to an S2K.

Good to know there will be friendly s2000 owners nearby! This is the first sports car I have ever purchased, though I have been a car enthusiast my entire life. I really want to learn how to do most of the maintenance myself and plan on changing all the fluids once the car is in Florida, I would love to have someone help me along. Also plan on doing coilovers and adding some tire to the car this summer before I start work.

The stuff I want checked out but don't feel so comfortable with myself is the valve adjustment and retainer replacement since I am pretty sure both are still original, I think KAB customs will be perfect for this.

I second for KAB. However Andres is very busy and sometimes difficult to schedule in. I had to resort to taking the S to a local chain shop for an oil change since I don't have the tools and time to do it myself.

Thanks for the heads up - good news is I am free this entire summer so hopefully I can get in at some point. Does KAB roll fenders, or anyone else near palm beach county?

When you get a chance, make it to one of the meets (Broward or Dade) and you might find someone who rolls fenders. I don't know if KAB does or not. I know Jeremy aka rockstar143 has done a few but not sure if he still does it. There is a thread posted recently as well with another guy who's name escapes me at the moment.

Most people have gone the way of social media and this board isn't as active. If you are into that you can search on IG and FB.
