Any update on this?
Never recovered, nor any of the parts shown up for sale anywhere . Allstate cut me a nice check, so that helped with the hurt, although I do miss the car dearly. Will own another one at some point

Did your car have a OEM hardtop that has matching VIN numbers?

There's a hardtop for sale in Sacramento CA:

Well the HT is still for sale NOW. If this was from this stolen S, wouldn't the potential buyer of a STOLEN HT want to know?

Negative, he mentioned his was a Ap2 and from the looks of that photo listed, that hardtop was removed from a 2001.
