Some of you asked me how I did the install of my front plate into the bumper. So since I took my front plate off after crossing the Ontario border two month ago, here is some pictures that will show you how I did the $1.50 tric.
Use a cover, 4 bolts, and some steel string (for a total for $1.50 at Home Depot) to create something like this;
If you have some money left, you can always buy a new cover
The final tric is to use plastic tie wrap to link the steel string with the bumper horizontal black grill.
Anyway the best is still no front plate:
There is very few advantage to be in Halifax, and only one plate is part of the major one.

For a mere fraction of the price....
Take (4) 8" zipties from the LAN wiring closet at work. Take the stock license plate holder, and remove the bracket and cut off the two large plastic bumps from the top of the holder.
Zip tie the holder to the horizontal grill pieces and cut off the excess. Screw the plate into the holder.
I went one step further and actually put the zipties through the plate. Probably not necessary.
The black thing in the photo is my EZPass, before you ask.
Although I agree the no plate look is best, I think the grill mount is much better than the bumper mount.
